  • psu 12v power switch

    hey guys,

im just occupying my idle time at uni by putting my old head unit (with a blown internal amp) to my college room. I figured the easiest way for 12v is just a ****house old psu which i found, but it does not come on with mains power. Obviously its waiting for the turn on signal from the MB which doesnt exist. It has an array of molex outputs, and the fat connector (2x10) which goes to the otherboard.

Which of these should i short out/ connect to something to make it turn on all the time

    Cheers Boys

there should be a single green wire going out to the connector for the mobo, use a jumper to short that out with one of the black wires right next to it, paperclip works fine as a temporary solution
