the device is old news, but i didnt know that they were released in the US. personally i think 300 bucks is too much for what you get. i have an old ipaq internet appliance that i hacked to run linux, it has a 233Mhz cpu and 64MB ram, with a lcd built in. Cost me 20 bucks at a pawn shop.
This was a cool toy when it was first announced over a year ago, but last year's technology at last year's price just ain't gonna cut it. With Mac-mini clones coming in at the $300-$400 range, the Geode needs to fall below $200 to be interesting.
