  • Night Vision in Car

    Hi!

I'm sorry, but I don't speak english so good. :-)

So, I want to build in a night vision system in my car. I have a TFT, so it need only a video camera and an IR lamp. Does anyone know any solutions? It need to be waterproof.

    Thx!

Where do you want this camera to be located? This is a pretty good rear view camera with night vision. http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=166

whats funny about that car is that theres almost 8 different steps you need to go through to listen to the radio.

Yeah, but that dash is almost entirely made out of pixels ... imagine the possibilities from the manufacturer design... skins, custom colors, etc.

I saw this thing @ MB dealer, and was blown away by the quality of the darn thing. Awesome.

What would be cool is if I could mount this setup (camera & IR) in those rotatable spotlights you see mounted on copcars...the ones that kinda stick out of the driver door...so when I wanna see somethin at night I spin the camera & look @ the screen instead of tryin to spotlight half the neighborhood.

I'm not sure what kind of camera you'd need to see like that...especially if you have Xenon lights... It would be really nice though.

                            yeah

i have also played with the idea of putting in night vision in my car. It would be really nice if there was some type of holographic output to basically display everything in realtime 3-d through your windshield... that way you can be following someone with your lights off and still be able to see everything as if it were daylight, without having to look down at a screen....

but i don't think that anyone can afford the technology required to do somthing like that though. although.... i'm pretty sure that someone, somewhere has already done it.... keep in mind, chances are, if you thought of it...it's probably already been done.
