  • Any1 done this? Radio Faceplate Mod

I'm putting my faceplate seperate from my radio housing, i ran the cables and got everything to work but i cant eject the cd. I think it's because it thinks the face is attached and covering the opening, anyone know the trick to make it work? I solder all the wires to the connectors

Theres might be some kind kill switch that the face plate opens when its down, inorder to eject the cd. On other models, when the face plate opens, it breaks the connection (terminals) between the face plate and the head unit, if this is the case, then you need to find a way to kill the connection between the two inorder to eject your cd...

    just my 2 cents

Hey guys thanks for the replys. I have a Pioneer DEH-7600MP. I finally got it to eject. BAsicly their was only one wire that i needed to add a switch too so it can eject the cds. IF you guys wanna know for the future on this model if you looking at the radio its the 2nd connector from the left to right on the bottom.
