  • LVDS? What is it for?

    Hello All,

I have been looking over the specs of the 896 Pentium M board and I notived it has LVDS.

Here is the spec: LVDS: Intel® 915GM integrated for 18-bit dual channel LVDS

Unfortunately, I am a newbie and do not know what this is for. Is it a Video signal? If so, doues dual channel mean I can run two monitors displaying different things? If I am way off base, what is its function.

    Best regards,

    Marc
