  • sp13000 front panel pin numbering... im confused. help :(

Well, it seems i forgot to take note when attaching my front panel wires and i pulled them all off to re-accomodate things around...

I forgot where the power from the Opus goes...
Im reading the manual of the sp13000 and it mentions:
Power button pin 6... and it gives me pin 1 location.. but im not sure how to count the pins... does it go:
    8-9-10-11........
    1234567

    or is it:
    2468......
    1357.......

as it is now, my opus keeps going into code 2 (wiring issue most likely)

im so lost right now. Reading the document: EPIA-SP_v100.pdf (page 26)
    available from: http://www.via.com.tw/download/mainb...IA-SP_v100.pdf

Curses! I should have taken note how i had that wire before unpluging it!

ah! looks like i did in fact take a picture... *all fixed now*

*attaches it for the sake of others*

back row you see red and white, then green and white.... the green and white in tbe back is the opus power switch. keep polarity in mind.

      Power wire

I have built alot of computers in the past and never had to attach the pins across. Its usually up and down. Also the issue with the opus is that you could have the power button pins backwards.
