  • Opus 120 and MB896 standby.

I am running the opus 120 with a iBase MB896 and I can't get it to go into standby. Any suggestions?

Yes I set the BIOS to S3. Unless there is a jumper on the board that isn't in the manual I am at a loss.

Called Opus and they said it was a problem with the timing of the power supply and MB896 on startup. They said they have a firmware upgrade to fix the problem.

Strange, i'm waiting for opus to get back to me, I have the 150 and the 120 and mine will almost never come back out of standby at all. It will go in just fine. That would be awesome if it was just a firmware issue.

It is a firmware issue with the 896. But you must send them the PSU so they can apply the new firmware.

Just a note, I contacted iBase and they sent me a new bios. It resolved my issue.
