  • RCA inline volume control.

Hi. Im looking to install an inline RCA volume control knob of some sort. Basicly so that i can controll the volume independant of the pc. Are there any pre RCA made controllers out there i could use or am i going to have to solder some volume controlls in manually?

The only thing i can find is something like this but idealy i want a multiple one for front rear and sub.

Perhaps a pre-amp might have what you're looking for?
Typically, pre-amps will give you a master volume control and some form of equalizer and/or fader functionality.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

You could build one for like $5. All you need is a logarithmic potentiometer. You should be able to find them in any store that sells electronic components. You'd have to find a stereo one though if you want stereo volume control. I built my own amp and I think the volume control pot cost me $1 at RadioShack. You'd just need to wire it to some RCA connectors for your in and out.
