  • Could mac slot loading DVD/CDRW work with PC

Does anyone know if a laptop drive from a G4 mac could work with a laptop IDE-USB connector?
    Thanks,
    t.

    You have any pictures??
    Failure is not an option....

It's installed by default on every version of Windows.

find out if it has a standard JAE-50 connector ont eh back. If it does, then you only need a slip-to-IDE adapter or a USB enclosure.
Macs use standard IDE just like a PC.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
        How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

if it's anything like my slim slot loading DVD drive, the JAE-50 connector is actually upside down... I made a post earlier about my situation too about not being able to find a correct one...

          Good luck!
