  • Where to purchase

Need a little bit help.. Where, other than MP3 car, can I purchase a MB and processor? I got an idea of what I am looking for, but not finding a whole lot of hits on the net to see prices. A general list of online stores would be fine for now.. Not to concerned about name brands of MB's just yet..

    Thanks!!

Yea, I know.. I tried searching for the last 2 days, but didn't find anything useful. I found sites (PCMall, Macmall, etc), but most of the places sell pre-built units. And other online stores seem to be overseas. I'm looking just for the hardware itself. Newegg had a few choices, but I wanted more online choices if there are any..

      Thanks for you help..

I guess it depends on whether you're looking for something mainstream (ATX, BTX) or something a bit more specialized (ITX).

For mainstream stuff, I highly recommend Newegg as FC3S mentioned. Additionally check out ZipZoomFly (http://www.zipzoomfly.com) and Monarch (http://www.monarchcomputer.com).

For ITX solutions, look at Logic Supply (http://www.logicsupply.com)

            Found this site:

            http://www.globalamericaninc.com/sbc...rboard_sbc.php

Spoke with a person and was quoted $543 for:

            http://www.globalamericaninc.com/new...ec2.php?id=629

            which includes:

            1.4 Celeron M chip
            1.0 Gig RAM

Hmm.. Pretty pricey, but I may pull the plug and get it over with.
