    battery drain fix

If anyone has ever used PalmAmp like me and drove around all day playing music, then you have probably noticed this drain on your batteries. I went through a set of batteries for my Palm III in two days before i did this very simple fix of cutting one wire on my cable/cradle. A must for anyone who leaves there Palm connected. ( i don't know if this applies to Visor's or Sony's PDA )

    work's for me.

"Current releases of Mocha W32 PPP and Mocha W32 Keyboard are NOT compatible with the cradle drain fix"

    > Kaysee, have you had any probs with battery life with your Palm?, since you use Mocha for your VNC app i guess you can't do this fix. ( unless you have a Palm V, cuz you'd be charging all the time your Palm is in the cradle and would'nt notice the drain )

I've did this mod to my cradle a long time ago, with no problems since, but you're right, Mocha won't work then.

I've got a serial>Palm lead that I haven't modified that I use with VNC and in the car. The cradle wasn't practical to use in the car, anyway.

It's amazing the difference it can make to the battery like. Make sure you've got 'beam recieve' switched off as well (unless you need it), and the batteries should last a long time.
