  • What's your take?

I was searching ebay for a mobo, but I really don't know much about these mini-itx. I'm searching for the best, and as a cheapo, the cheapest too. I'm a litle concerned with the power, graphics, upgradeability, and speed comes next.
Talk about eating your cake and having it.

Here are the links to the one I found.

Please, Which oone would you choose and why?

Let's just compare these three for now.

    I'd appreciate your inputs. Thanx

    Jetway and a geode. I say no-no

    Jetway. I say no.

    EPIA. I say yes.

If these are all within your pricerange, then the 3rd is the best in my opinion.

Jetway I rule out because some versions of the Jetway boards have problems booting with the M1/M2 DC-DC PSU's. You say you are cheap, so you will prbably buy the M2. I have it works. But if you go that way then I would stay away from the Jetways. Some say the Jetways work, and I find it is more of a hit and miss.

      Here is a question.
Are you stuck with miniITX formfactor?

There is one distinct problem with miniITX boards: There is far too little variety in boards.
I'm certain that as the formfactor gains popularity, more manufacturers will adopt it and use more chipsets, support more CPUs, etc.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
