i have recieved my kit. but now i am a little bit lost as to what to do.

if i run the exe, it requires a skin. so i renamed and moved the FusionFormDynamicBMV2withTemperature.skinplug

I can see that the temperature sensor works if i it into analogue port 1.

however my first project is to control winamp.

I have a potentiometer that i want to use to control the volume, and i have four push to make switched that i would like to control "previous track","pause", "next track", and something else (probably).

what do i need to do in order to do this?

ok did a bit (a lot) more reading tonight and i have now had a play with the skin editor / configurator programme.

I have hooked up my potentiometer, and i have got my skin reading from 4.98 when the "volume is turned down" and 0.00 when the "volume is turned up".

so now i just need to know how to control winamp's / master volume with this.

    any pointers?

In the analogue configuration page of the skin editor, select the "dx" box which means incremental steps, and enter the step value. If you have it set to 0.1, then everytime the voltage changes by 0.1v, it will send the keystrokes to the window that has the correct title and class.

I made it so that, if the title is "winamp", it will automatically fill in the other info. So set to 'send keystroke' and then make "title" to be winamp. Set the key to the keyboard shortcut to what you want. Then it will send keystrokes through the API (meaning not to the focussed window, but to the window you specified which is important) and it will work.

              Nope.

I work on this project for many hours a day and night, and then I have 2 jobs and then university again in a few weeks. I am a busy person.

Those need to actually have something by them.
What key do you want to send? "UP" is the up arrow and "DOWN" is the down arrow for volume by the way.

                    #LOWTHRESHHOLD#d0.06
the Up volume now works, but not the down?

                    any ideas?

p.s. it must be something in the skin settings (as apposed to winamp/the commands), because if i switch the UP and DOWN over the down works but not the up.

That is why. If the volume changes by +0.06, the volume will go up. If the volume changes by +0.06 the volume will go down. Since it sees this as an error, it wont evaluate the latter one. It should be negative... Not at my developing computer right now, but I believe it should be ...#d-0.06. If not try ...#-d0.06.

same thing under digital inputs, except change the key sequence to the correct key function...
