The general method of connecting a PC without a headunit is to use a wire of some sort that goes from the PC to the amp inputs.

Assuming your head unit isn't the amp for the speakers, It should be pretty easy.

If your head unit IS your amp. You'll need to buy an amp of some sort.
If you buy an amp, you'll have to power it somehow.
If you buy an amp, you'll also want some new speakers, as stock speakers suck.
If you buy new speakers, you'll also want a sub to go with it to get that rich, rear view mirror shaking bass.
If you buy a sub, you'll need a second amp to power that too.

Oh yea, I almost forgot. You'll have figure out a method of turning them on and off, as that's the head units job (which you no longer have).

Theres a right way and a wrong way to do all of this, and if you do it the wrong way, you can fry your equipment.

Luckily the right way is well documented here, if you do a bit of seaching.

        Good luck.

            Don't know where you got that idea. I can't say I do. I can't say I don't. We've never met.
My point is that ou claimed to have searched, yet in the FAQ link int eh navbar across the top f this very page, there is that very write-up.

If you misconstrued my observation about how little effort you put into searching for the answer to this question as my dislike for you, then you're mistaken, really.

On that PC, if you were to connect speakers, where would you hook them up?

                  Searched where ?

You will first need an amp. The sound card from your PC will feed the amp the signal through various types of cable. (a digital one would be best).

The amp then amplifys the signal to provide enough power to drive the speakers.

If' you're uncertain about how to get audio out of that PC into whatever, then we really can't help you.
I think that you should start with reading the manual for that Shuttle XPC (or whatever it is) before proceding with this project. It's apparent (to me at least) that you have much to learn.
