lmao my phone has more power than that! HTC Touch Diamond. 548Mhz lol

To be fair though my phone probably isn't x86 compatible. What's intersting to see is it's IDE only??

IDE went out the window several years ago and is replaced by a more efficient method called "SATA"

Haha you are correct Big K! I am surpirsed it's not SATA equipped as well. Is SATA any more power hungry than IDE? I'm not sure but if it is then that may be a reason why. I'm still using IDE until I get an SATA drive.

I'd love to see one of these built around a dual core atom. I don't know how the amd geode performs but I'm guessing it's not too great.

Geode isn't too bad depending on the application. I buy ALIX boards from pc-engines.ch that use the Geode processors. They work AWESOME for BSD-based firewall/routing devices.

I imagine the choice for IDE/SATA was limited by the chipset used.

EDIT: Looking more at the specs, this little box only consumes 5 watts total. Impressive! The atom-based intel mobo I have consumes much more than that. Granted the actual atom is not a power hungry beast, but the chipset on the mobo consumes over 22 watts.
