  • need some help with XP on my car computer

Here my problem I am tring to run xp with screen resolution 600 x 480 for my 10.4 . But the computer keeps rebooting at this resolution . So I hooked up my 14" lcd screen. The computer does not reboot now . Now it will only go down to 800 x 600 screen resolution . Is way manual set the screen resolution or a software that do for me . (The 10.4 is a vga)

    Thanks Allen Ruble

Look at your even viewer to see whats going on. XP is very similiar to 2000, I have and run both. To do this to see if we can help you any further. First of all disable the re-boot at errors problem. This may resolve your re-booting issue. All these steps will be on my win2k computer, so look around your XP setup.

    Right click my computer
    properties
    go to the advanced tab
start up and recovery (on the last button towards the bottom)
    In the System Failure area
    Uncheck --Automatically Reboot.

Now go to your Event viewer and post the errors you get.
    Event viewer is located on
    Start
    Settings
    control panel
    administrative tools
    event viewer

****Again this was done on a Windows 2000 Professional operating system, I do not take any resposiblity yadda yadda yadda****
    What im curently listening to.

Here is a error I get on boot up

Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.

DETAIL - Not enough storage is available to process this command.
