is this the new scifi miniseries? Has it been made into a regular season show?

Right now it's DVR-MS. DVR-MS is an MPEG-2 file that includes metadata about the recorded program to be stored. I'm not thrilled about it but for right now I'm using M$ Media Center 2004 as I wait for SageTV Ver. 2.

The highest quality is about 3 Gig per Hr. and is pretty damn good, BUT the format can not be edited or converted right now which sucks. Oh, well.

I honestly have no idea what your second question is.
