does anyone know where to get a sensor (keychain.ID badge) and sensor receiver? the same sensor cards business and colleges are using?

i was thinking of having the sensor - when the proper keychain or card is placed against the receiver - send a signal to actually turn on the carpc inside (instead of pushing the power button). any ideas?

        This is what you want.

Edit: Oops, nevermind. This requires that you have the PC on already, but it could be useful for other things.

          Here. Non-PC, 12V. Works like a switch or a push-button.
