  • Thanks for the help

I just wanted to tell you all thanks for the help. Today I booted my first carputer, in fact I'm on it right now (on screen kb kinda sucks). Probably wouldn't have done it without this site. Been here about two weeks now (since I came up with the idea to build this thing). Should be getting my new Ford Superduty friday to put it in.

Also, I figure that I'd post this sort of message so nobody tells me to search. Btw - call me a noob, it doesn't bother me.

Thou hast reached enlightenment, young noob.

How the heck did you build a system in two weeks?!? (1/2 wk to decide on parts, 1 week for shipping, 1/2 week to assemble) Not possible.

Umm, possible! (Just like you said) I didn't mean to miss lead you however, it's not in the truck yet - just put together with OS. Still deciding on front end.

I like most of you will continue building it as they are rarely ever complete. I'll get pics as soon as it's installed. Spec's include M10000, Lilliput 7 TS, M1-ATX, 512 mb, 20 gig 3.5 HD, GPS ordered, will be using an old kenwood deck until I figure out the audio package.

Gonna let this thread die, as it's not very useful for anyone. I'll put the pics in the correct section. Thanks again everyone!
