  • Coming out of hibernation - Mouse sometimes goes NUTS!

Sometimes when I come out of hibernation the mouse goes nuts. It moves all over the screen in random jumps.. Is it the touchscreen since it's USB? If so, what's the solution?

I *think* this is related to VIAs buggy USB drivers. I've had numerous USB/Hibernation problems with my VIA mobo that I haven't seen on other mobos.

I've had particular problems with the Linksys USB-BT100 on my SP13000. Simply plugging it in once makes Windows even more flaky than normal with respect to USB and Hibernation and the only solution I've found is to re-install windows.

I used to have the same problem... I don't get it anymore, but I've changed the motherboard and upgraded to SP2. Do you have SP2?

Yea. I have SP2 and I will be dumping my whole system.. Just got new mb / cpu today so hopefully I won't have this issue with them!

No search for a GPS Serial mouse fix, sometimes the PC sees the GPS as a serial mouse and it makes it jump all around. There is a fix on here, but I cant remember what its called right now. 'Serial Mouse GPS' search should find it though.
