  • I need help on something.

I'm new to the forum (just signed up 2 minutes befor ethis post) and need some help on a Car Alarm.

My friend bought a parts car for the transmission... we ended up stripping it for parts and trashing the rest of the car.

I pulled a Clifford Cyber 1 Car Alarm out of the car to keep for myself... I'm having a problem locating an installation Diagram for this unit.

I posted this in the general discussion because i did not see anything about vehicle security on the main forum page, just audio.

So maybe if someone can help me out a little, it'd be much appreciated.

Also, for reference, i have messed with the Clifford Wizzard, and the Pro Installer, that way no one tries to recommend those softwares to me.

Once again if someone could help me out, that would be awsome.

Although this doesn't really relate to mp3Car.com (this is more of a CarPC type forum), I'd suggest you to try find the information you're looking for (wiring diagrams/owner's manual) in Clifford's website.

Newsflash: Take a look at my unsold stuff above, thanks!
Up Next: Make an OBD to Serial cable & Redo the "MMI buttons"

That would be because these forums are focused on installing computers in cars.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

These forums aren't the best resource for car alarm wiring diagrams simply because that's not the focus of mp3car.com.
            Seriously.

Sorry if that's not helping the guy, but it's a fact.

Was that neccesary? A post saying "STFU" is absolutely uncalled for, and I don't think DP cares about his post count.

i understand this forum isn't about car al;arms, i was merely trying to see if anyone by any chance would have any knowledge of this alarm or maybe some contacts they could get ahold of to se eif they could find a pin-out.

no the main unit doesn't have the locations for the wires, i wish it did.

those websites ive looked at already, thanks for the help tho... the first two are car pin-outs of where wires go, i need one for the alarm unit itself.

im sorry for bringing this topic to a forum not of it's purpose... but once again, i was just looking to see if anyone might have the diagram.

                  I'll guess I'll help out....

STFU n00b... this forum has nothing to do with car alarms.

Geez....really don't need 5 posts telling someone to shut up or something, do we?

Your best bet is to do a search on Google or something for that alarm. Can also check out the 12Volt Forum as they deal with security systems. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/

I am not sure whether you address directly to me or not.
Anyway, I don't ******* care about post count.

All DEI/Viper alarm has pin out printed on the back of the main module. The alarm (Clifford) installed in my Supra in 89 has pin out printed on the back.

As for car wire/diagram. A half brain person with little knowledge about car can figure out which wire is for door lock and ignition. And in general, car wire code can be easily found on the by googling.

Actually I think he was addressing me, since I'm the one pointing out that there are far better resources than mp3car for info about alarms.
The12volt is certainly one of those.

And I'm like you. I don't give a **** about post count either. It's just a number that indicates how talkative you are, IMHO.
I've been rather talkative over the past couple years, as my post count indicates.

I was merely pointing out that while all of you were saying something that was true, none of you actually answered the question that he asked.

                          Simple as that.

True, but sometimes there are better, faster, easier and more comprehensive sources for the information he wants than these forums.
