Damn that thing has been posted in here alot lately. Does anyone search anymore before a post! Okay i cant find examples, but i did read about the alpine unit two days ago on these forums.

I did see a kewl usb to ai-net controller on alpines site. It would allow mp3 playback from a usb drive. Proabaly limited functionality.
Um, I guess this is where you put something witty.WITTY

                $450USD is $640 NZD

In case you are being serious about this unit:

This is a crap unit. Only plays ipod. No radio. nothing. Just ipod. And for $450, you can get yourself a much nicer HU or computer.

Yeah but im not into putting a comp into my car thou its gonna be for my home jobs after work and by hte sound of some of these threads it all sounds to complex my house comp needs work before anything else, yeah the HU needs the adapter acessories to do the mp3 and the radio but still beats the hell outta changing cds of pushing the skip button to fingd the song that is pushing your buttons at the end of the day. i wood prefer a HDD HU ideally but alpine gave up on theirs and i havent been able to find the Kenwood one yet plus they are pricy toooooo
