I really like Groove Salad (internet radio/itunes) over the internet...is there an equililent over XM or Sirius. Is my only option a cellular internet card for my carpc?
Yeah I like groove salad too. I wouldn't say cellular internet is your only option; you could always record it at home and playback in the car. I actually did that for years so I could keep my library of Musical Starstreams shows up to date. Cellular is easiest.
Both XM and Sirius have chill stations. I can only critique the XM and its really not comparable cause XM tries to cover too wide a swath of new age music, whereas, Groove Salad is much more focused on a particular genre. Just to give yourself a glimpse of whats playing on XM checkout this link
and watch the "What You'll Hear" window as it scrolls through the artist and title of the song played on XM 84.
