  • Destinator settings

    Hi All,

Not sure if this should be here or in the noob forum.

Basically I have one of those ebay USB GPS receivers. And while using Destinator (NM version), I can't seem to get the advanced GPS settings right. Basically I switch off the Advanced GPS switch and it works fine. The COM port is set to AutoDetect as is the Baud Rate. I have set the protocol to NMEA and it works fine but I really want the Gatso alerts which only seems to come up in SIRF mode, which my receiver wont do.

Hav I got hold of the wrong end of the stick?

    TIA,
    Shapps

Right...it looks like it was a case of not doing the good old .

The settings I had were set to SIRF in the Adv GPS settings which simply doesn't work with my receiver. So I simply set everything to Auto and set the protocol to NMEA. This fixed it.

      Thanks,
