    ok dont know anything about GPS stuff. I just know if I get a GPs reciver and software I can plug in to my pc and see my location on a map.

    well I love that idea.

    but my problem is that I can not find a map for panama city central america any where.

    and now that iam talking about this what will show in my screen if I get a gps reciver and software if I dont have a map of my city

    pics of this will be great

    I need the Panama map too, i building a Car PC using Centrafuse..

      It will show your approximate location on the map if you don't have detailed maps for panama city. It might be blank or it might just show the outline of panama and your location but no streets.

      I see that Google Earth has some of the streets in your city. You could use Google Earth to display your position. You can cache some of the data on your PC or if you have constant net access on your phone, you could use that to display it. There are cache programs that will also save the data ahead of time.

      Search on Google Earth in the forums. RoadRunner has a GE plugin.

          Do a Google search for Garmin-compatible 3rd party maps for Panama. If you find that they exist, than you could buy Garmin Mobile PC, and use the 3rd party map data.
