    USB.
You don't have to recharge the battery or worry about flaky bluetooth drivers.

Put it where the sun DOES shine. (Where it can "see" the sky)

Seriously, search a little. There a lots of threads about location of GPS recievers.

hmmm, My " USG-BT359 Bluetooth GPS Navigation Receiver " (do a search) works perfect.
No matter how I use it with my system, start the PC first, or after the antenna, it works fine.
The wireless has an advantage: I leave the included cig charger hooked up in my car, this way it stays on all the time. When I start my carputer I have instant SAT locks, because the antenna still has them locked. (Because it wasn't turned off)
I also get plenty (about 6-8 Sats) allthough it sits inside my center console.

BU353.. 9-11 sats!!! having to charge a bluetooth would get on my nerves eventually.. having cables in the cig lighter would not look veeery nice also.. USB is the best.. believe me.

Bluetooth !! and if you buy one with a hard on/off switch you just hardwire the cord out of sight , mount the BT GPS . I have mine in the trucks glove box and it works greats.
