  • Iguidance V.2011 wont run after install

    I installed the new version of iguidance v2011 on my Windows 7 64bit computer after removing a working copy of v4 and rebooted. After the install all seemed to work perfect till I double-clicked on the icon to start it and got the following error:

    I uninstalled the program and rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted again and the same problem after several reboots. I am not sure whats the problem with this software and could use some help. All thoughts and answers will be greatly appreciated.

      The iGuidance Compatability page says that 2011 runs on Win7 after a patch.
      Have you installed this patch?
      Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
      How about the Wiki?

      Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

        I sent their support an e-mail and was told that there is no patch:


        Are you referring to v2011 evaluation? There’s no patch file available for this version as iGuidance has been tested to work w/ Windows 7 32 AND 64 bit OS w/ exception of Enterprise edition. If what you have is the Enterprise edition, then you’ll need to do the following:

        1. right-click on the iGuidance short-cut on the desktop,
        2. select "properties",
        3. select "compatibility" and set "run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3".
