  • Partial newbie... Basic remote questions

I just recieved my 7" touchscreen, but I could see it being a bit cumbersome due to the fact it's a bit small, so now I am looking at a remote to aid in the system control.

    1) Does the remote act like a wireless mouse, enabling you to move around the screen and click where needed?

    2) OR, does the remote interface with custom code (girder?) to control your applications?

    3) If the answer to #1 is yes, why not just use a wireless mouse?

    -Yes, I did search allready...

Some have that funtion buiilt in like an ATI Remote Wonder. Some you could use Girder to set it up to do so as well.

Yes you could do this as well...

It may roll all over the place when driving or you wouldn't be able to use it outside of the car like a remote or maybe so other reason.
