Waitaminute.. I clicked your car's link, and I see an old (though very mint-looking) truck! Is that your ride? Are you putting the PC in that?! AWESOME! Talk about retrofit!
Controlling lights on that bugger will be a tad bit easier than if you were talking about, say, a 2001 Pontiac Firebird, but you will still need to do some searching for how to control relays using your PC. There are already some prefab controllers out there for relatively cheap, but wiring it all up is a bit of a challenge, and with that nice (though old) set of wheels you have there, you are efficiently outside my ability to offer tips on how to go about it.

Thanks That is the truck I just bough, a fully restored 1938 Chevrolet Master Delux
I also feel that it will be asyer to wire this car, since all I have to do is check which one of the only 10 cables it has is the one I want to put a relay on
                Thanks!

That outlines the progress of my own project, ALEXIS.

It is color-coded (the key is on the bottom line of the sig) to show the progress as it currently stands.

OBD = OnBoard Diagnostics : Used by all vehicles to give access to computer diagnostics. Used in CarPCs for real-time digital dashboards etc.

Skinning = The ability to change the appearance and layout of elements within the program. Currently, there isn't a lot of that in ALEXIS yet, but that's okay. I'm more focused on just getting the software running first.
