  • Lilliput-TS calibration lost!

    Hello!

Retime a problem of me with my monitor.

I use a Lilliput-Touchscreen for my Car PC.

I find it very irritating, that I must calibrate the TS again, always i turn on my car-pc

    used components:
    via epia-M
    512mb
    40gb
    winxp prof.

    any idea?

        *push*

        any idea?

        question:

is stand-by-power necessary for the lilliput? i take the operating voltage from the radio, which turns on with the key (ignition)

i think it doesnŽt matter, because in my opinion the carpc should save the configuration/calibration.

I think that the calibration settings are stored in the registry. If there is a bug in the drivers, it might not be able to save the settings if you are not a local admin.... pure speculation... but all I can think of to help you.

I run the drivers that shipped with the unit, and I have no problems. I calibrated once months ago, and have not had to touch it since. The screen is used every day in the car.

What you can try is to calibrate the TS how you want, then save that registry entry as a file and put it in your Startup folder.

Make sure you make a backup of your entire registry though before you try this, just in case anything...

              hmmm...

i checked the device manager (winxp)

the TS seems to be installed correct.

Are there any other drivers for the TS. On my cd are the 3.1.2.1230

anyone knows the registry-key where the settings are stored. i donŽt know...

The calibration settings on the Xenarc are stored in an EEPROM in the monitor. At least thats what jimmy at Xenarc told me.

The calibration of the LCD display settings is stored in the EEPROM, but the actual touch screen overlay settings that they are talking about here are stored in the registry.

I have a xenarc not a lilliput... Did you try searching the registry for lilliput? If that doesn't work, just install regmon, run it, then run the lilliput touch screen program and see what registry keys are accessed. I'm also just assuming its in the registry and not the file system, if you don't get any hits from regmon, the settings must therefore be stored in a file, in which case, if you can't figure out which file it is just by looking at the touch screen program folder, you can download filemon from the same sight which monitors files as they are accessed.

I have a xenarc monitor also and the calibration problem as well, can you tell me where in the registry settings that stores the x, y calibration?
