  • looking for trackpoint eraser mouse

I need something TINY, i've seen the unit posted in here but it has buttons on either side and is 3.5" wide. Way too big. I just want the eraser nub like in the IBM Thinkpad where you can tap the nub for clicking (obviously no right click but that's ok). I just want to be able to drill a tiny hole near the gear shift area and have the eraser nub stick through.

Yeah, I was thinking about using one of those for cursor control, but end up going with a Touch Screen instead...

Anyhow I had no luck in finding a source for just they eraser head thingy.... there might be, but i couldn't find it... other than ripping one out of a dead laptop keyboard.

But I did locate a mouse with one built into it. I found it on a site through Google, but can't remember where... anyhow I am pretty sure the mouse was made by IBM....

no not really, that might work but the $CALL is worrisome especially when the ones above it are $250. I'm talking a device that shouldn't be more than $10-$20 and larger than 1"x1" or so with the pointing device being the size and shape of a pencil eraser.

Weird.....it seems that this was kind of already posted above by ktritz, but when I click his link it goes to a FragMaster joystick, then I refresh and get this. So, I dont know what all of you are seeing on the above link. Maybe its just a Mozilla thing on my end. Grr.
