  • Girder/Igor plugin and LIRC receiver

I have a strange problem with Girder(3.29) with Igor Plugin (older version 1.01) and DIY LIRC receiver. I have this same combination working fine in my Supra (ABIT mobo) setup. However the combination doesn't work on my ASUS A7N8X-VM/400 mobo setup. The receiver doesn't get a consistent signal. If I took the receiver and plug in my desktop (ECS mobo with 1 COM port) and it works fine. It just doesn't like my Asus mobo. When I check the COM port for voltage on PIN 7(RTS) it read 7.9V and the output of the 78L05 going to the IR module is 4.97V the same reading on both mobos (ECS and ASUS).
It's work perfectly fine on my desktop ESC mobo, but doesn't on my CarPC to be Asus mobo. I recorded the signal on the desktop and copy/import to carpc. The desktop getting the same code on every remote press (of course same key), but on carpc (still on my desk) it get all different code.

What is going on? The only different between the 2 installations is the that the Carpc has SP2 and the desktop doesn't.

    Bump for the cause...
I guess no one use this cheap receiver.

Anyway, after digging Girder forum, I found my answer: increase the plugin priority default at 7. I change to 8 and works like a charm, but I don't know what the hell that number mean anyway. Process priority???? Is that has to do with thread priority/processor time sharing/multi thread or what the hell it is ..
