  • notebook lcd inverter to vga

i am trying to figure out how to use either a touchscreen panel from a tablet pc or just a regular lcd withouth touchscreen. the problem i'm running into is that i need an inverter to do that. does anyone know or any product out there or any way to make the vga signal convert to the input signal for the lcd screen? any help would be awesome. thanks.

The touchscreen from your tablet PC will likely be too much of a pain in the *** to pull off. You can read all about that here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=51040

The other LCD screen is likely only a composite video input. You could either get one with a VGA input (check the MP3car.com store for some examples) or get a scan-line converter to push the VGA signal through video composite.

Also, n00b, search and read the forums. As you can see, the answers to all your questions have already been asked & answered at least once, usually more than that. I suggest starting in the FAQ Emporium forum.
