It mentions absolutely nothing about compatability, and I refuse to believe that this magic box will work in every car.

It doesn’t work with my car because my car uses CAN-BUS to deliver the control signals. I have figured out a way to make it work but it requires at $350 Vag-com cable and custom software to make it work.

They have pennies in the UK? And, you will build nothing till all of us on the boards have super bright LCDs. So there.

of course we have pennies. where the hell do you think they came from? We had pennies while the natives of your country were trading in chickens and hunting tools!

and rest assured - i wont have an install until after the backlights

like i have time to install a carPC!

Quid, Pent (pense, pents, whatever), Pound, Shilling, and you expect me to know that you have pennies. I thought pennies was one of the above.

Oh how I yearn for the days of chicken trading.

I was actually slightly concerned I may offend someone with that comment about the trading but i am glad it was taken as it was meant.

                            Back to steering wheel controls.....

StevieG's setup is pretty good fromw hat i have heard and jsut requires an outlay of about $5-10 for a gamepad - lots to be had on egay.
