  • Woot got my Psone LCD!

    well finally got my psone screen (even the sony one) for 99.98 yeah thats canadian funds people so its a good deal any who I have a Question, it requires a 7.5 V DC power adapter for the power source buy any chance could I hook this up to the car and the shutdown controller? also if I do need to go get the adapter is there any others out there that are not 49.00? god damn sony!

    your gonna want to keep it around 7.5-8 volts i'd say. Check out like radio shack and see if they have any that would work. If you are gonna do that make sure you check the amps that screen will take also.

      Somone mentioned that electronics boutique had a no name veresion of the adapter for $15US...

        I tried a generic radio shack power adaptor... fuse blew right as it turned on... POS IMO... I went and got the gamevue adaptor (at least i think it is) at EB for 14.99.. works like a charm... too bad the screen isn't the best quality... it'll be interesting once i get it in the car, if i don't buy a xenarc by then
