  • flickering liliput monitor

Guys i have nearly new liliput monitor that seems to flicker when the pc is in use. Any idea why it does that, the old one that i scratched never did. Seems fine when the on screen icons are touched for the brighness and such.

I have used the cables from the old monitor which was the same make, doubt that would make any difference?
Here is the one i have
Lilliput 7 inch VGA Touchscreen Monitor 619GL-70NP/C/T
Also anyway to turn down the pc brightness in the pc settings. I have the monitor settings turned right down but it is still very bright and makes it hard to read the words on screen.
    Help me please.

    Pat

Is the monitor using power from the car or from the house AC power? You might also want to crack open the case to take a peek inside. I had a lilliput that had some excess solder on one of the connectors and was bridging to another connector. Everytime my screen dimmed there was a little arc of electricity on the excess solder. I just took a solder gun and removed the excess solder and it worked fine after that.

Mine has the same issue. I'm thinking it's a ground issue? I don't remember it happening when it was being powered in my house off of AC power before I installed it...
