  • anyone use Jensen VM9512 with carPC?

    i searched but came up short. does anyone use the Jensen VM9512 with their carputer? a buddy of mine saw my setup and asked me if i could help him do the same. he currently has the Jensen and doesnt want to replace it.

    If you can get video into a composite signal, it can be used as a display.
    No touch control of the PC, unless you can reverse-engineer.

    Understand that a PC display on a composite video screen is less than stellar. Text will be blurry or fuzzy and the display will not be as sharp as a screen with VGA input.

      alright, i'll pass the word on. thanks.

      there are some headunits that can display a vga signal as well as control a computer, right? i use a lilliput monitor so i never looked into this side of things much.

        Nope.
        I know of no headunit that has a VGA connectiion or one that has touch control of a PC.
        There are in-dash VGA touchscreens made specifically for PC use.
