  • PS/2 and Touchscreen

In order to make my touchscreen work I had to choose the PS/2 Option on the driver installation. So now any PS2 mouse will not work. I need the PS2 because I'm using it for a homemade volume controller out of a mouse, anyway to make it so I can still use a PS2 mouse? Doesen't make sense when my touchscreen is usb anyway.

        USB Mouse?

Have you tried a USB mouse?Or maybe a newer or older driver may help get the touchscreen & mouse to work together.

It has to be PS/2 as I stated...USB mouse works just fine.

            Hmmm...

If it HAS to be a ps2, then I have two ideas.

            1. Install a ps2 mouse driver. This my sound stupid but, the this may solve your problem.

            2. The Long Shot - a usb/ps2 adapter this prob. will present the same problem but, you never know.

If all else fails adapt a usb mouse you said it(usb mouse) works.
