I am hooking up my monitor this weekend to a pc in my trunk. If I hook the VGA cable up to it, when I move the cable around close to where it comes out of the back of the monitor the screen flickers. So I am guessing it is a bad soldered connection. I don't really want to take it apart. can I just hook it up to either the composite or s-video out port on my video card and still maintain touch input on the screen (assuming I connect the USB cable to my pc)? Are there benefits to hooking it up via VGA cable that would benefit me to the point that I should take it apart and re-solder?
