  • High Resolution Screen

I'm in the market for a 10 inch in dash monitor and a fairly large flip down monitor. I want to find the highest resolution possible on both these monitors so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I dont want to break the bank but at the same time Im willing to sacrifice money for quality.

1 - If you want a 10" monitor in your dash, you're going to be fabricating it yourself.

2 - Monitor resolutions vary form model to model. You need to do some research into various models to determine what will work best for you.

I had to search high and low for a good quality 10" high res screen a few years back. Wound up going with a 1024x768 aircraft grade monitor. Costs me $575.

The XENARC 1020TSV 10.2" has a resolution of 1024x600 and is around $450

For a drop down, I recently bought the 19" 1440x900 Eonon from Eonon on Ebay for around $250.

I've read about your install. My friend is going to school right now to be a pilot and I had called him to see if he knew where I could get a screen like that for alittle cheaper but I havent heard anything back so if you could send me the link to where exactly you got the airplane monitor.

Mine was the third or 4th one down.

I had to beg the guy for a sample and give him one of my China Supplier contacts before he let me buy a sample. But maybe they aren't so strict now ????

The ones I see on that website are either 650 or 860 dollars. so your saying they wouldnt sell to you until you gave them some info on someone they could potentially use as a vendor

Basically but they were just starting out and I was only buying one. So I had to haggle.

Just call them up and see what they can offer ???

I just bought a sort of custom made capacitive 9" touch screen on ebay. Has 1024x600 res. It was really a great bargain at 260 + shipping.

He packed extremely well with fairly quick shipping.
