  • VERY Bad image retention Lilliput 669GL

I have put my Lilliput 669GL into my car, the only problem is if I leave the monitor on the same thing for as little as 5 seconds I get terrible image retention issues!
    How can I fix this?

when did you purchase this 669. Any idea which variation it is(4-wire TS, 5-wire TS, high brightness version). I've had a few versions of the 669 and i cant duplicate this issue at all. What kind of input are you using (HDMI, DVI etc). If you unplug/plug the screen while the image is stained does it come back?

I bought it about 2 weeks ago from Lilliput UK, it's the 669GL 4 wire touchscreen connected via HDMI. I will check what happens if I unplug and replug now.

I have checked and it does still have the burn in when it has been turned off and on again.

I would ask for a warranty replacement it seems the LCD is prematurely failing.

Unfortunately I have already put it in a double din case so I have voided the warranty, I did damage the button board so I haven't used it but apart from the image retention issue it works fine so I assumed it didn't matter that it isn't even connected.

I managed to fix it! It seems that by putting some pressure on the bottom right corner behind the lcd panel it fixed it :S
