  • 10" screen w/ HDMI resolution

I just received a Lilliput FA1013NP/H/Y 10.4" Non-Touch Monitor. I hooked it up to my laptop w/ HDMI port, and the actual computer resolution/graphics look much less than stellar (pretty poor actually, tough to read things.). Once I fire up the Blu-Ray player on that screen, the actual movie looks great, while the windows open in the background look still less than stellar. All the while the laptops physical screen, resolution/graphics look great. Played w/ the resolution on the laptop for the 10" and get a little better, but then it doesn't fit the screen well.

Anyone have ideas to what I may have missed?

the main page says that the screen has a native resolution of 1024x600. if you are able to run it at that, it will be as clear as it gets..

I've seen another user note issues with the HDMI on a 10" lilliput. Try DVI out on the PC. I use that (on a 10.1" lilliput) and it looks great.

        on the 669?

on that, you can use the hdmi input, just set the display to 'dvi' something about setting it to 'hdmi' zooms the image in.

Yes! That's the kind of thing I'm referring to. I just thought you had to actually use a DVI-HDMI cable.

I believe that the video signals are pass-through from the DVI connector to the HDMI connector.
The USB are, and from the looks of the 669 board, so are the video.

I tried just about every res I could. Still could get it to look good.

I need to figure out an option to go from VGA to one of the inputs on the screen. HDMI, YPbPr. Not sure which is the best option yet. The pc I'll be using does not have HDMI, so I tested it w/ one I have that does. If I could have gotten it to look better, I thought about using it. Any insight to which is better option? VGA --> ?

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I set mine up as a custom resolution. I'm not 100% sure how to get VGA into these. There should be info in the manual.
