  • Any one used a VM90-V monitor

I'm looking around for a new monitor and stumbled onto this one on ebay
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/VM90-V-9-9-i...item1c1f5ca81e

Says its LED backlit in some places and CCFL in others!
Anyone used one of these? Any reviews

i haven't seen many reviews of 8+ inch monitors-- most use the 7" version of that. and i have not heard many negative things, so assuming the build quality is the same, it should be a quality unit, just with a bigger screen.

i believe that most screens need to use led backlighting to achieve 400 nit brightness, though i could be wrong..

Type of backlight has nothing to do with brightness. There are 1500 nit panels out there that are CCFL, and 200 nit that are LED.
Conversly, there are 80 nit CCFL and 2000 nit LED as well.

The brightness game is just like building a fast car.

Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

Update: MITX told me The VM90-V is LED backlit.
