  • Open frame usb touchscreen

I'm looking at the pics of the open frame touchscreen 7inch monitor, model MON-120. How is the USB connected? All I see is connectors for the VGA and power. Can I extend the panel(the portion with the buttons) cables?

the link is for a pandigital lcd picture frame, not for a vga-compatible monitor-- perhaps the wrong link?

Sorry, don't know exactly what you are talking about. I don't see any link that I put, but this is it:

      thanks.

No, that's not a VGA cable. The connector you see is the SKS breakout cable connector that Lilliput uses. That breakout cable looks like this:

The cable that runs from your PC to the monitor looks like this:

Thanks, that messes my whole plan up. I was hoping to put a right angle connector on the monitor. With that connector my monitor wont fit where I need it to.

You can trim back the connector and fit it into a tight spot. I removed three of the rubber rings and it fits very well.

I thought about that, I was more concerned with if the hard plastic portion extended beyond the frame. If the hard plastic fell short about 5-10mm before the edge of the frame, then cutting back the rings would make sense for me. Or if it was safe to cut back the hard plastic.
