  • Upsidedown and backwards again

I have a lilliput monitor that is upside down and backwards like this thread http://www.mp3car.com/lcd-display/12...-on-lilli.html . But I didnt take anything apart so I dont see how it can be a pin 38 problem. It was simply showing properly one second and the other everything was reversed. It is def the monitor and has nothing to do with the computer. Any ideas?

I think the options to flip the image upside down as well as mirror-reflect it can be found in the menu. At least I think my 669GL had those options

Found it. Went in the hidden menu...hold power button down for 10 sec...and turned off the x and y axis in the 3rd or 4th menu screen. Whats bugging me is I didnt touch anything when this happened.

It still can be that "pin 38" or a bad contact somewhere else.
You see, something caused it to turn upside-down. You fixed it via the menu. If it's loose contact somewhere then it will flip it again someday.

My Lilliput used to do this too. In the beginning, it was enough to knock on it to fix. After a while I had to hit it pretty hard to flip the picture. Then I found that it's actually easier to press on the lower part of the screen to fix it. After a few months the knocking/hitting stopped working. It would flip and stay flipped for as long as it wanted - anywhere from a few seconds to several days. Dumped it and bought a new one.

Anyway, it's clearly a bad contact somewhere - certainly not a driver/software problem as some suggest.

I didn't realize that it happened without you adjusting monitor settings. I assumed you got the monitor and it happened to be that way - I thought that adjusting settings would help you with that. Max is right: if it just happens sometimes, it's probably a loose contact, and you should try to figure it out, unless you want to keep tweaking the settings
