  • Xenarc 700TSV - Issues with VGA signal

I've got a Xenarc 750TSV and now that I've finally installed it in the car, I'm having issues with the signal. The PC boots and the monitor does nothing. If I wiggle the VGA cable a bit the monitor will eventually turn on and everything is fine. Once I shut the car off and start it again, the signal isn't found. I'm hoping the issue is just the VGA cable and not the lcd itself.

I even tried powering the screen using the standard plug instead of the car and the problem persists.

The real issue is that once I put the car back together, I can't get at the cable to wiggle it or unplug/replug it?

    Anyone else seen this before?

    Can you provide more information?

Like what side of the cable you were wiggling (PC or Monitor)?

Do you have any tight bends in the cable?

Is there a problem with your computer's VGA connection?

I'm wiggling the cable on the Monitor side and yes there is a tight bend in the cable due to the space provided in the dash.

Also, the VGA on the PC is fine. I tested it with another monitor and I also tested the Xenarc using the onboard video and a seperate video card.
