  • '05 Cadillac CTS V stock nav display on aftermarket screen

    Hi all,

I'm in the process of gathering parts for my project and was curious if anyone has been able to get the stock info to be displayed on an aftermarket screen.

I've gathered from some other posts that the stock screen is RGB but I haven't been able to find the pinout info from the ribbon cable to the stock screen. I am hoping to use an RGB > VGA converter and switch between stock and the car pc display as needed.

It's the last piece of my puzzle I need before starting to tear into things.

    Thanks,

    Mark

It is "puesdo" RGB with composite sync.

Thank you GM/ Delphi for nothing but crap.

I ordered a up convertor board and will let you know if it works.

The biggest stumbling block to this has been the lack of information that GM or Delphi will not release.

      Hopefully, the board will work.

I know this is an old post but....
Did it work? Or what did you end up doing? I just bought an 05 CTS-V and need more options. I am looking for an inexpensive way to get the GMLAN info into a PC/tablet/aftermarket screen to I can get rid of the stock radio all together but your option may be easier.
