  • Anyone know what capacivie screen e3io uses?

Seems to be a legit double DIN, 10 point multi-touch, and reverse wire switching. I'm not aware of anything comparable that fits seamlessly into double DIN.

Check the store here. There are many direct fit screens available here.

Depending on the screen you can upgrade the touch screen if you want. I bought a generic "touch" screen from here and a member here upgraded the touch screen to multi touch capacitive.

Other wise he can also build you a custom sized screen as he did for my 10.1 capacitive screen.

I'm familiar with the offerings here and elsewhere for standalone screens. I currently have a Lilliput 669GL with a capacitive overlay. However, it is 2-point only, which isn't enough for all multi-touch gestures. I think what makes this screen different from others that I've seen is that it appears to be a direct fit into double DIN (7" screens are a bit oversized) and it's 10-point and it has a reverse wire input.

They use a Samsung LMS700KF07-004. You can find plenty of variations on E-bay. For the capacitive touch they use an overlay from Ocular.

Does anyone know what cables go to what on that Samsung screen? I wanted to use the ribbon cables to contain as many wires to inside as possible, but I don't have a wiring diagram for the monitor. It came with NO instructions. I can figure the USB cables, but the power button and some of the 2 lead wires I am unsure of.
