  • Is TM-710VGT regulated?

does this thing have its own regulator? what does the power supply on this look like? plug directly into cig port? or need another regulated power supply for this?

    The AC/DC addapter outputs 12V DC 1200mA.

It will work in your car with voltage 12-14.4V DC

Yes, but what about when the car voltage goes above 14.4v? I would feel safer powering my $400 screen with a regulator circuit.

I am sure it will be fine but you can always wire it to your power supply.

Just goes to show you that it is bad to assume The monitor will need a regulated 12V. Fortunately all of my monitors will include a car adapter, which will accept 12-24V and will regulate it to 12V.

Unfortunately the Lilliput forgot to include them with my original shipment. I got them now though so I will be sending everybody’s out separately.
