    Hi Mate,

Sounds like a definate Refresh Problem. How is it if you start in 'Safe Mode' !!

Pretty new to the CarPC scene but have been building/reparing systems for some years.

        Hi Bud,

Deffo sounds like a refresh rate problem. Safe mode (Unless someone knows better) runs at 60Hz by default. Have you tried this refresh rate ?

Normally I get problems with multipul mouse pointers etc when the refresh rate is set too high.

May be worth a try if you have'nt already.

        Regards

        Chris

To adjust the refresh rate in windows do the following (May have to do it 'Save Mode' due to current problem)

Right Click on normal windows desktop, Go down to Properties then click the Settings tab at the top of the box. Click the Advance button, then click the Monitor button. You will then see the adjuster for the Refresh Rates, whack this down to 60Hz then reboot.

May have just told you how to suck egg's (You already knew how to..) but wanted to add what I could in order to help to sort this problem...

EDIT - Just done a search and I found that PSOne screens run at 60Hz...Seems this is your problem. There may be a work around to go higher but I do not know for sure.

          Gday!
when i run in safe mode under the monitor button - it dosen't have 60 hz as an option it just sais default settings

i plugged another monitor in but it dosen't change when i stick the lcd back in and ive tried to do it in normal windows but its too hard with the flickering - is there a way i can change the settings in safe mode so that it sais 60 hz as an option?

          cheers
